PrestaShop
Install the CookieShift PrestaShop module, connect your shop, and serve the consent banner on the storefront.
CookieShift’s PrestaShop module (Back Office name: CookieShift CMP) connects your shop to the CookieShift dashboard so you can manage consent without editing theme files manually.
What the module does
- Links your PrestaShop install to your CookieShift account
- Matches or creates the CookieShift property for this shop install URL
- Injects CookieShift
cmp.json public storefront pages when connected - Provides Back Office tabs for Dashboard, Consent Log, Go Pro, and Site Details
- Opens CookieShift tools for banner configuration, scanning, compliance reports, and consent logs
CookieShift provides technical consent-management tools. You remain responsible for legal and privacy configuration.
Requirements
- PrestaShop 1.7 through 8.x
- Outbound HTTPS to CookieShift
- A CookieShift account
Install and open the module
- In Back Office, open Modules → Module Manager.
- Upload the CookieShift ZIP (folder name
cookieshift). - Enable CookieShift CMP if needed.
- Click Configure.
Connect PrestaShop
On the Not Connected screen:
- Choose Create New CookieShift Account or Connect Existing Account.
- Complete registration or sign-in on CookieShift.
- Confirm, select, or create the property for this install URL.
- Return to PrestaShop. On success you see Website connected successfully on the Dashboard tab.
Connection stores Site ID and a server-side plugin token. The connect state expires after about 15 minutes—restart Connect if you see an invalid/expired OAuth state message.
After connection
Use the header actions Sync and Disconnect, and the tabs:

Configure consent
Banner design happens in CookieShift:
- From Dashboard, click Customize or Edit.
- Save banner settings in CookieShift.
- Check the live storefront in a private window.
Run scans and compliance review
- Scan / Retry Scan opens CookieShift Scanner for this property.
- Review opens compliance reports.
- A failed scan does not disconnect the module.
Disconnect
Disconnect clears the local plugin token and stops cmp.js injection. Your CookieShift account and property are not deleted. Site ID / install identity are kept to help reconnect.
Troubleshooting
| Issue | Try |

| Invalid or expired OAuth state | Start Connect again from the module promptly |
| Connected but no banner | Confirm CMP ACTIVE; clear PrestaShop/CDN cache; private window; save banner in CookieShift |
| Consent Log error | Retry / Refresh Analytics; reconnect if token rejected |
| Sync failed | Retry Sync—the shop stays connected |
| Wrong property | Disconnect/reconnect; select the correct property for this install URL |
